About Jose Torres
My name is Jose and I thank you for the privilege of your visit! After a lifelong residency in Texas, I moved to the remote wilds of beautiful Northern California. Fate plopped me plumb into an immigrant family of Mexican farm laborers and the unique childhood that comes with it. The food was (is!) fantastic too. The strength and love of supportive friends and family allowed me to go on and became a volunteer firefighter, Army veteran, tent maker (yea), and IT guy. My drawings and photography have become my outlets for dealing with my disabilities.
